People with intellectual and developmental disabilities are at serious risk due to critical gaps in oversight, emergency response, and provider accountability in licensed providers, according to a new report released by the disAbility Law Center of Virginia (dLCV).
The disAbility Law Center of Virginia (dLCV) has uncovered a major concern that affects hundreds of incredibly vulnerable Virginians.
During Federal Fiscal Year 2022, dLCV received a total of 410 Critical Incident Reports from facilities operated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS).
