Over 800 individuals receiving services from the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) programs tested positive for COVID-19 as of August 21st, 2020. In this report, we highlight trends of COVID-19 in licensed community programs and explain how poor reporting practices limit the ability of dLCV and DBHDS itself to fully understand and explore the nuances of how the COVID-19 pandemic impacts disabled Virginians.
