The Council is entirely volunteer-run\, and joining this council allows folks to have the opportunity to learn more about mental health on a policy/state level\, have input in the work that the disAbility Law Center of Virginia does for individuals with mental health needs in institutions\, and share their community and advocacy experiences to empower people with mental health needs across the Commonwealth.
